Having two boys in diapers is the most expense my family has. I’ve tried all sorts, Huggies, Pampers, Luvs, store brand..Trust me, they are almost all the same and pretty much cost the same! As soon as my children are ready for the toilet, I will be sad but, thank god at the same time! One thing I have learned though is that diapers aren’t the easy thing to get cheap. Yes, there are some pretty awesome coupons out there but it is still really hard to get a good deal. Here are some tips that I have discovered that really help in minimizing the cost.
- Use Coupons. You pretty much will never get a good deal unless you do this. There are always coupons in the sunday paper for all brands of diapers. Also, printable coupons do come along but very are seldom.
- Buy at stores like Rite Aid or CVS. The reason why I say this is because both of these stores offer rewards cards and store “money” back if you purchase a certain brand. CVS often offers ECB’s along with their promotions, which essentially gives you money back. I also LOVE CVS and Rite Aid because they almost always offer coupons for a certain amount off per purchase: ex, $5 off your purchase of $20. When these are combined with coupons it gives you an awesome discount. (always give x off of xx coupon first!!) One last reason why I like drug stores is because you can stack coupons. (use a stores coupon with a manufacture coupon)
- Diapers.com. Websites like Diapers.com gives you great discounts on diapers and if you don’t like clipping coupons, they have their own for you to use! You simply click on the “e-coupon” and it gives you a discount. You recieve free shipping if you purchase over $49 and they come within two days! I personally have used them and I love the quick service. Actually, Right now if you enter code GJKA7339 at checkout you get $10 off your order and then another $5 on your second order!!
